Fighting the California fires...

The fires are raging in Yosemite and there are helicopter teams working flat-out to help control them. This Blackhawk is equipped with a 900 gallon Bambi bucket connected to the line running down the picture.  Must get close to the fires, the nose was peppered with smudges of ash.

The 152 link road between the 101 and 5 climbs up through the hills following the Pacheco pass. This reservoir is near the top, it’s really empty at the moment.
