The train track, runs through the salt flats at Alviso. Because the track is raised to get it out of the flood plain its a unique perspective.

The builders are in next door and I suspect they are going to make something big as they are driving piles to the center of the earth. My thanks to Steve for pointing out this would make an interesting shot. Illuminated by the light from the fire-escape this needed 4s at f4.

The Cantor arts center at Stanford has a bronze of Rodins “gates of hell”. When photographing it you get the feeling he sculpted for light at the expense of form.
