The big dipper in Santa Cruz was completed in 1928 and its still going. I last went on it 20 years ago, its still excellent, delivering a sense of fun and excitement to all those who venture forth. Suspect the rattles and bumps are really key to making you feel the speed.

When escalators where introduced they where called moving pathways. Oxfords car-park still has a sign explaining how to use it though the actual moving pathway is long gone.
Flew to the UK for a few days and took this shot at Heathrow. Loved the clouds and perspective on the 747.

The walls of the Bayside Cannery are painted. According to the sign “Established in 1906, Bayside Canning Company became the third largest cannery in the US…. first cannery in the world to can green asparagus..”. Looking like the Cannery needs a little loving restoration.
